Men’s shed

If you’re looking for a space to get hands-on and create, the Men’s Shed program at the George Gray Centre is perfect for you. It’s not just about making things; it’s about making connections. Whether you’re new to woodworking or an experienced DIY enthusiast, this program provides a supportive environment where participants can learn, build, and share their skills.

Men’s Shed offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from crafting simple furniture to repairing everyday items. You’ll develop practical skills like measuring, cutting, and assembling while working with tools and materials. Alongside the physical work, there’s plenty of time to chat, share stories, and enjoy the camaraderie of working together toward a common goal.

The program helps foster a sense of purpose and pride in your creations. You’ll leave each session with not only new skills but also lasting friendships and a feeling of accomplishment.
