Lunch Prep social group

Love food and great company? The Lunch Prep Social Group at the George Gray Centre combines the joy of cooking with the opportunity to connect and share meals with others. This program is perfect for anyone who enjoys learning new recipes, honing their cooking skills, or simply sharing a delicious meal with friends.

Each session, participants work together to plan and prepare a variety of meals, from simple snacks to full-course lunches. Along the way, they’ll learn important kitchen skills like chopping, measuring, and following recipes. Safety and hygiene are also key focuses, ensuring everyone feels confident in the kitchen.

Once the cooking is done, it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor! Sharing a meal together fosters a sense of community and provides a relaxed space to chat and bond. It’s a wonderful way to build life skills and make lasting connections.
