Community access
At the George Gray Centre, our Community Access program is all about exploring and engaging with the local community. Whether it’s visiting parks, attending events, or volunteering at local organizations, this program provides participants with meaningful opportunities to connect with the world around them.
Each week, participants take part in carefully planned outings that match their interests and goals. From enjoying a coffee at a local café to attending a community festival, there’s always something exciting to look forward to. Community Access is designed to help participants develop confidence, independence, and social skills in real-world settings.
This program encourages active participation in community life, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion. It’s also a great way to discover new hobbies, meet new people, and experience everything Gippsland has to offer.
