Women’s Group

ABOUT THE ACTIVITY

The Women’s Group at the George Gray Centre provides a nurturing and supportive environment for women with disabilities to connect and grow. This program encompasses a variety of activities, including dancing, arts, karaoke, singing, and cooking, each designed to enhance self-awareness, improve health, and foster strong social connections. Through these engaging activities, participants can explore personal interests and talents in a safe space, promoting individual empowerment and community involvement.

The program supports participants in developing critical life skills and building confidence, all within a framework supported by disability services and aligned with NDIS guidelines. The Women’s Group is more than just a program; it’s a community empowering women with disabilities to lead fuller, more engaged lives.
